Our main office – shop and Kite School Pranburi in Pak Nam Pran.
We provide kitesurfing lesson all season long, operating during the North East monsoon ( October to January) and our beloved South wind season (February – May), which is the best part of the year.
You can find us at the beach road towards Khao Kalok, right next to Baan Pran, Romanee Resort and Mojitos beach bar.
Main kitespot is a long sandy beach, with shallow water teaching area, small lagoons on the beachfront and open sea. Suitable nearly for all kind of kitesurfing activities – from learning, freeride and bigair, to foiling and wave riding (during strong wind days waves build up nicely).
Definitely the best part of the year in Pranburi is spring, from mid February to early May. Sunny hot weather and steady warm South thermic wind is bringing everyday nice conditions, with the wind building up slowly in the morning and blowing full force in the afternoon untill sunset. You can expect 10-20 knots on the daily basis with few days of strong wind reaching above 25 knots.
Weather during North East monsoon can be colder than usual dropping to 24-26 degrees, so planning your visit at November and Early december dont forget to take some neoprene top with you for thermic comfort during windy days. At this time of the year the main kite beaches are:
Khao Kalok beach (the main kite beach where our kite school pranburi office is located) – when the wind shifts slightly east, thats the place to be. Long sandy beach with easy acces and no water hazards.
Squid beach (right next to the harbour entrance) the best deep water spot when the wind is perfectly North – protected from the current and waves from the left side, with wide sandy beach.
There is a wide selection of ACCOMODATION directly on the kite spot beach:
Budget rooms and bungalows – ROMANEE Resort, Phukpan Resort, Sermsuk Resort
Medium priced beachfront – Baan Pran Resort, Il Mare
Premium beachfront rooms and villas – PRASEBAN Resort, ALEENTA, VILLA MAROC
Quality hotels a bit further away – Palm Pran Resort, EVASON, SHERATON
